The Collaborative Learning for Educational Achievement (CLEAR) program is designed to create safe, predictable, and consistent educational environments that are sustainable for schools; through a systems change model over a 3-year period, the program aims to lessen the effects of traumatic stress and build collective resilience. Participants in this institute will: gain an overview of the impacts of traumatic stress on learning and behavior and an introduction to the CLEAR framework; hear from a panel of administrators who have implemented CLEAR in their schools about successes, challenges, and lessons learned; and engage in a working session about how to begin the process of healing in their own schools.
