Friday's School Celebration Submitted by Jeffrey Hoese, Principal Fulton Elementary School Hot Chocolate Day! Students in KA had fun having a Hot Chocolate Day! Students made hats, did hot chocolate math, and made a hot chocolate booklet. They even had a sight word snowball fight under the lights of falling snow! Students who wanted, enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate, complete with whipped cream. It was a fun and tasty day in KA.

OPEN POSITION! The Truant Alternative Program is seeking positions within Ogle County schools with the potential of some Lee County districts. Our goal is to collaborate services with students, families, and schools to address causes of absenteeism and create a resolution to academic success by providing supportive services. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. This is a 10 month position with the last day being June 15th. IMRF is offered. Health benefits are not offered. OPEN POSITION @ SVCC Sauk Valley Community College is seeking innovative individuals for an opening as a part-time Learning Commons Instructional Assistant. Regular hours are 3 days a week; 5 hours a day; two days until 6pm, 1-6 pm, and one day from 9 am -2 pm. Friday's School Celebration Reindeer Day at Fulton Elementary School Kindergarten students had a great time during Reindeer Day! A large cutout reindeer welcomed the classes into the gym, wishing them a fun time. In the gym, students rotated through five centers to make a reindeer craft, play Reindeer games like Pin a Red Nose on Rudolph and a reindeer toss game. Students made reindeer food, too! Each student had their picture takes with antler and a red nose! A special reindeer snack was enjoyed as well. In the afternoon, we all watch Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer!
